Functions

Common faults and repairs

Abnormal power output: The voltage output by the power board is unstable, too high or too low, causing abnormal operation of the elevator components. It may be caused by a fault in the voltage stabilization circuit on the power board, capacitor damage, transformer failure, etc. During maintenance, professional tools and instruments, such as a multimeter, oscilloscope, etc., are required to detect the power board, find the faulty components and replace them.

Fault indicator light: There is usually a fault indicator light on the power board. When a fault occurs, the indicator light will light up. The cause of the fault can be preliminarily determined by checking the status of the indicator light and the fault code of the elevator control system. For example, if a certain indicator light is always on or flashing, it may indicate that there is a problem with the corresponding circuit or component, such as overcurrent, overheating, etc., and then targeted repairs can be performed according to the fault prompts.

Communication failure: There is a problem with the communication between the power board and the elevator control system, which may cause the elevator to fail to operate normally or an abnormal alarm may occur. This may be caused by damage to the communication interface, open or short circuit of the communication line, power board software failure, etc. It is necessary to check whether the communication interface and line are normal, and perform software upgrades or reset operations on the power board.
