Working Principle
Circuit Disconnection: Under normal circumstances, the LAY5-BS545 emergency stop button’s internal contacts are closed, ensuring the circuit is flowing smoothly and allowing the device to operate normally. When the button is pressed in an emergency, the internal contacts quickly open, disconnecting the device’s control or power circuits and immediately stopping the device, thus preventing an accident from occurring or escalating.
Rotary Reset: After troubleshooting or resolving the emergency, the button needs to be rotated to reset the button. This recloses the internal contacts, restoring circuit continuity and allowing the device to resume normal operation.
